SETEX Construction Corp. served as the Construction Manager-at-Risk for the 123,000 sq. ft. Memorial Academy project for Port Arthur ISD. The facility was constructed on an active school site, requiring careful scheduling, coordination, and strict safety protocols. Structural systems included concrete foundations, steel framing, and masonry walls designed for long-term performance.
The building features state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, high-efficiency HVAC, and advanced lighting and controls. Specialized spaces include science and technology labs, a competition gymnasium, culinary arts kitchen, and library/media center — each built to meet the district’s academic and operational goals.
All work was executed on budget and within schedule under the CMAR delivery method, providing PAISD with a durable, adaptable facility that will serve students for generations.
